The challenge

RecoMed is South Africa's largest and fastest-growing online healthcare booking platform; connecting patients with practitioners across the country in real time.

When they came to us, they had a platform people genuinely relied on. What they needed was a landing page that reflected that. One that was modern, clear, and built to move two very different people to act.

That's the complexity at the heart of this project. The RecoMed landing page doesn't serve one audience. It serves two. A patient who needs to find and book a doctor. And a practitioner who wants to register their practice and grow their patient base. Both arrive at the same front door. Both need to feel like the site was built for them.

How we approached it

A modernised design was the brief.

But design without direction is decoration.

Before a pixel moved, we mapped the communication pathways. Who arrives here and why? What do they need to understand first? What action do they need to take next? We worked through both journeys in detail. The patient looking for a doctor they can trust, and the practitioner evaluating whether RecoMed is the right platform for their practice. We made sure neither journey was an afterthought.

From there, content and design worked in lockstep. Every visual decision had to earn its place by serving function. The hierarchy of information, the placement of calls to action, the language used to address each audience; all of it was intentional, tested against the question we always come back to: does this move the right person to the right action?

The result is a landing page where the design feels fresh and confident, but where usability is doing the real work underneath. Both communication pathways are clear. Both users can orient themselves immediately. And the critical engagement moments, wether that is when you book a doctor or register your practice, are visible, accessible, and actionable.

What we delivered

A fully redesigned landing page with support pages that created dual-audience communication pathways, UX writing, content hierarchy design, and CTA strategy for both patient and practitioner journeys.
